Presenter Spotlight: Nils Adermann (naderman)

Nils Adermann (naderman on phpBB.com), who hails from Karlsruhe, Germany, is another member of phpBB’s Development Team. Prior to becoming a developer, he wrote a number of phpBB MODs, and in 2005 he worked on one of the Community Coding Projects alongside DavidMJ. Based on their high-quality work on their project, Nils and David were both invited to join the Development Team in December 2005, and they really helped the team to pick up the pace on phpBB3 development, having the first beta ready to go in June.

Nils has dedicated a lot of work to the UTF-8 support in phpBB3 as well as numerous other regular expressions, along with other tasks and other bugs. He also has worked a bit with the project of integrating phpBB3 with Joomla! and other systems, as he discussed in a recent phpBB Weekly episode. His website is naderman.de.
