Presenter Spotlight: Paul Sohier

Paul Sohier, known on phpBB.com simply as Paul, is a member of the MOD Team who hails from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He originally joined the MOD Team in November 2006, first as a MOD validator, and then after a brief hiatus from the MOD Team in late 2007, he rejoined to chiefly work as a coder for the MOD Team’s various secret projects. He played a significant role in building the new MODs/Styles Databases after the new phpBB3-based phpBB.com was unveiled in early 2007. His phpBB MODs (for both phpBB2 and phpBB3) include such titles as AJAX Shoutbox, Profile Guestbook, and Extended Ban Manager, as well as some others which are no longer supported. He also has a fun personal website which is odd yet interesting at the same time. He has also appeared on a few episodes of phpBB Weekly and the Official phpBB Podcast.

On behalf of the MOD team, Paul will be presenting a half hour session on how to get involved with MODding and the process of MOD validation, starting at 14:00.
