About Londonvasion Central
This blog was started up by Douglas Bell (Fountain of Apples on phpBB.com), co-host of the phpBB Weekly podcast, in July 2008. Its purpose is to serve as the unofficial live blog for coverage of the Londonvasion 2008 phpBB Conference, including coverage of the event before, during, and after Londonvasion takes place. Following Londonvasion, the blog will hopefully cover future phpBB events as well.

phpBB is truly a global endeavor: its team members and community members hail from all over the world. Londonvasion 2008, to be held at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow Hotel in London on Sunday, July 20, 2008, will be the first time in phpBB’s history that most of the team members and many community members will come together under one roof to meet each other and talk all about topics concerning phpBB community members of all shapes and sizes (not to mention Berties of all shapes and sizes, too).
